WELCOME BACK INSIDE!

Lots to share today, its been a while.

We have new procedures, new shop items, new events and news all to catch you up on, so let's dive in!

RECEPTION IS OPEN!

Finally. It's been a tough 14 months since closing our doors on that fateful day. But we have persevered, adapted, grown and come out the other side stronger and better than we could have imagined. That is largely down to you, our wonderful customers and your dogs so thank you. We are pleased to let you know from Monday you will be welcome to collect your tired and content dogs at the end of the day from inside. For some of you this is a brand new experience having never set foot inside Camp Tails before so we are excited to welcome you behind that magic door you see your dog charge through each visit without looking back. It will remain different as we continue to follow COVID safe working practices as we protect the team and each other. In short from Monday -

1 person may enter to collect your dog or visit the shop (pm only).

  • Mask's must be worn inside at all times*

  • Keep socially distanced from staff when inside reception.

  • Hand sanitiser must be used when entering and exiting.

  • Dogs must be on lead and secure before leaving the reception.

*If you cannot wear a mask for any reason that is OK and we respect and won't challenge the choice/reasons behind, we are more than happy to serve you through the window for now to protect the team and business.

We will be continuing our wonderful doggie drive through for drop offs due to the popularity and efficiency for everyone first thing in the morning, but we wont be able to for collections from Monday onwards unless specifically requested. If you do wish to continue you will need to wait until those collecting from inside have cleared and we can come out to you. Just park up right outside the window to let us know you are there.

We will no doubt have teething issues as we get used to people back inside again so please be patient with us and respect our policies as they are in place so that we can continue to offer the best care for your dogs.

CAMP SHOP BACK OPEN!

Our shop will also officially relaunch, the hardest hit area since COVID but we have some exciting new bits to tempt you including:

  • New design Collars

  • Hownd Shampoos and sprays from the Groom Cabin

  • Old fav's such as Denzels and Red Dingo

BITESIZE BARKS

Puppy boom:

We have had so many in the past few months. Covid puppies are a thing. We are here to help. Early socialisation is key so if you know of any new puppy parents send them our way. Open Morning: July 3rd Looks to be the date where we will fully open our doors for tours, drinks and biscuits and chats! We can't wait. More details as we get closer to the time. But we want it to be a celebration so new or old customers, please come along! Grooming!: We just keep getting busier and busier! Although we can often fit in some last minute requests dues to Auntie Hannah's super flexibility please try and book your next appointment as soon as you can, as we get bigger it will be harder to fit you in! Thanks. Price Increase: Will be announced in June as we try to manage new overhead costs (namely cost of living increase that was applied in April). We delayed the annual increase to aide in dogs returning to Camp, but from July 1st new rates will apply. You will be able to pre pay on the existing rates all the way to June 30th so stock up on our amazing 20 day packs! Timings/Cancellations: Friendly reminder, as we get busier its going to be critical for business operations standard T&C's are followed, namely timings for drop offs and collections (daycare and grooming).

  • Cancellations - no charge if within 24hrs (must be by 9am on the day before to give us chance to fill the space or adjust staff).

  • For Daycare drop off must be between 8am and 10am

  • Early drop offs from 7:30am by booking only for additional fee (otherwise doors open at 8am).

  • Collections must be BEFORE 1pm for half days or a full day rate will be charged.

  • Collections for full days anytime after 1pm but must be BEFORE 6pm or a charge will be applied (we have a long long day so our late fee is high and there as a deterrent, we don't want to charge it but late collections delay the team from finishing up and getting rest ready to play again).

  • For grooms its even more critical due to normally having back to back appointments so please arrive promptly for you appointments and arrive within the collection window given to avoid holding charge. Daycare grooms - we fit the times in so you don't have to worry about appointments!

One more thing....

Theme Weeks will return soon! Some of you have yet to experience the additional joy on the photo albums on a theme week so we are keen to share them with you when the time is right! Watch this space.

Dogwarts will 100% be the first one.....

THANKS AGAIN.

SEE YOU AT CAMP!

Jon and the team!
